Our privately-held water and energy conservation company is located less than one block from the ocean in Solana Beach (just north of San Diego) on Pacific Coast Highway. Our location exemplifies our commitment to the natural environment, to supporting water supply reliability, and to reducing landscape runoff into the ocean.

The company is a “new age” water utility revolutionizing the way water is managed and conserved for commercial and common area residential landscapes.

Our patented WaterLink System® and Water2SaveSM service has proven to save money and water for apartments, HOAs, condos, schools, hotels, resorts, cemeteries, shopping centers, business parks, and municipalities.(see testimonials).

We operate a patented proactive weather-based adjustment and water management service which optimizes landscape irrigation usage. No operation needed by the landscaper. We have provided customers with guaranteed and continuous water savings for over a decade. We reduce water bills by scheduling the right amount of water at the right time to keep the landscape healthy and green.
Our service works with any irrigation controller including "smart" controllers and Metropolitan Water District of Southern California offers a Water Conservation Performance Incentive Program based on the amount of water actually saved.

* You may purchase our add-on technology or a new Sterling-Water2Save Irrigation Controller manufactured by Storm Manufacturing Group.

* There are no programming requirements or new technology to learn.

* Like any utility we guarantee quality of service & savings.
* We continuously monitor and report water and dollar savings.

What is Social Business?

Social business is a theory put forward by Nobel Peace Prize 2006 winner economist Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh, which according to him could immensely benefit the world.

Social Businesses seek to profit from acts that generate social improvements and serve a broader human development purpose.

A key attribute of social businesses is that an increase in revenue corresponds to an incremental social enhancement.

The social mission will permeate the culture and structure of the organization and the dual bottom lines - social and economic will be in equal standing with the firm pursuing long term maximization of both.

Here are some interesting facts about water conservation:

* Less than 2% of the Earth's water supply is fresh water.

* Landscaping accounts for about half the water Californians use at home. Showers account for another 18 percent, while toilets use about 20 percent.

* The average American uses 140-170 gallons of water per day.

* It takes over 1 million gallons of water to grow enough food for an average family for a year.

* If you water your grass and trees more heavily, but less often, this saves water and builds stronger roots.

* Water your lawn only when it needs it. If you step on the grass and it springs back up when you move, it does not need water. If it stays flat, it does need water.

* Never put water down the drain when there may be another use for it such as watering a plant or garden.

* Water lawns during the early morning hours, or evening when temperatures and wind speed are the lowest. This reduces losses from evaporation.

* Public water suppliers process 38 billion gallons of water per day for domestic and public use.
